It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Percy Herman Parnell Jr. of Lucedale, Mississippi, born in Tibbie, Alabama, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Parnell and Effie Alday Parnell Sr.; his wife Emma Kaye Parnell; and his siblings, Elizabeth Kastorff, Collier "Boe" Parnell and Randall Parnell Sr..

He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Foster (Joseph) and Dawn Baxter (Ron Mason); his grandchildren, Deidra Fryfogle (Jacob), Jacob Foster, Sierra Baxter, Cody Baxter and Gary "Trey" Baxter III; his great grandchildren, Koda Baxter and Kamden Baxter; and his siblings, Michelle Perry (Wayne), Victor Parnell (Becky), Phillip Parnell (Sally), Robert Parnell (Wilma) and Jeff Parnell (Sandra).
