She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd "Bud" Howard and Edna Mae Reeves Howard. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Croom; her grandsons, David Byrd, Justin Byrd and Philip Byrd; and her siblings, Brinda Day (Jimmy), Floyd Howard Jr., Mike Howard and Bobby Howard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church (2165 Rocky Creek Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
