She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lloyd and Verlie Mae Fowler (Kitty); her spouse Harley Holmes; her children-in-law, Rachel Holmes and Rodney Emerson; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Emerson and Vanessa Dean; and her siblings, William Fowler, Jimmy Fowler and Shirley Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Emerson of Macon, GA and Chris Holmes of Lucedale, MS; her siblings, Lelar Fowler and Glenn Fowler; her grandchildren, Rod Emerson (Heather), Joshua Emerson (Ali) and Heaven Dean (Zach); her great grandchildren, Preston Emerson, Paightyn Emerson, Parker Emerson, Chloe Emerson, Levi Emerson, Brooklyn Emerson, Isabella Emerson and Taylor Dean; and her sister-in-law Maxine Brooks.
