She was predeceased by: her parents, Medford D. Howard and Loretta Gibson Howard; her son James D Harrell; and her grandson Adam M Harrell. She is survived by: her children, Mary E. Harrell Edwards, Judy G. Harrell Mizell, Ellis "Buddy" Harrell Jr. and Mitchell Harrell; and her sisters, Elsie Harvey and Ruby Rowe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
