He is survived by: his wife Kathy McCleery Phelps; his children, Brandy Stewart (Mark), Victor Phelps (Candice) and Rebecca Cureton (Patrick); his stepsons, Everett Rummel (Shawn) and David Rummel; and his siblings, Patricia Rich, Jennifer Payne (Brandon) and Clyde James Phelps. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
