She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard H. Howell and Mary K. Howell (Keel); her spouse Francis Keith Scott; her grandson Jordan Scott; and her siblings, Myrtle Lee Clements, Rev. Hollis Howell and Austin Howell.

She is survived by: her children, Tara Scott Mallett (Presley), Derrick Scott (Karen), Mark Scott (Kim), Seth Scott (Carolee), Rhett Scott (Suzanne), Brian Scott (Charity), Paul Scott Sr. (Shelly) and Heath Scott (Leslie); her siblings, Lanelle Kirkpatrick, Shirley Roberts, Thurman Howell, Lester Howell and Rev. Glenn Howell; and her grandchildren, Will Scott, Caleb Scott, Nathan Scott, Luke Scott, Ian Mallett, Samuel Mallett, Joshua Mallett, Reuben Scott, Jared Howell, Ethan Scott, Noah Scott, Isaiah Scott, Alex Scott, Harrison Scott, Carter Scott, Paul Scott Jr., Jacob Scott, Halley Scott Strickland, Katie Scott, Britnye Sartain Fryfogle, Hilary Sartain Grimm, Toby Sartain Flowers, Meghan Scott Anderson, Meredith Howell Broom, Jamie Scott Abbas, Lydia Scott, Anne Katherine Scott, Ella Frances Scott and Elliot Scott. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.

Due to the spread of covid, at family request, the visitation will be open to the public; however, the funeral service and graveside service will be family only. Wearing a mask by family and friends is requested.
