He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Ann Everett Nicholson; his parents, Carl Nicholson and Reatha Nicholson; his son Shawn D'Wayne Nicholson; and his siblings, Mike Nicholson, David Nicholson, Gerald Nicholson, Linda Hovatter and June Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Flossie Nicholson; his daughters, Christina Stokley (Dale) and Dee Dee Adams; his stepsons, Thomas Havard (Becky), Terry Havard (LaWanna) and Wesley Havard; his grandchildren, Amberlee Hokanson (Jason), Patrick Dickerson, Brinklee Eubanks, Cassidy Nicholson, Anthony McLeod (Cassidy), Keasha Merritt (David), Tasha Havard, Kaitlyn Havard, Tyler Havard, Zachery Havard, Raylon Havard, Landon Havard and Lana Havard; and his sister Gail Gibson. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
