He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Josey and Frances Josey; and his siblings, Harvey Jack Lamb, William Lamb and Betty Jo McBryde.
He is survived by: his wife June Josey; his sons, John Richard Josey, II (Shelia) and Jason Josey (Leslie); his grandchildren, Rylee, Maggie, Christopher and Keelin (Chloe); and his sister Voncile Lamb. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
