He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Ann M. Smith; his grandson Christopher "Robbie" Nicholson; his parents, Ernest Woodrow and Berti Lee Arnold Smith; and his son-in-law George Boyle, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Smith and Janice Smith Boyle. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Moments Funeral Home (7158 MS-63, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
