She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Williams; her children, Stanley A. Williams and Denise Johnston; her parents, John Luther and Mary Alice Merritt; and her brothers, Jack Merritt and Luther Merritt.
She is survived by: her son Ronny Williams (Leigh) of Lucedale; her daughter-in-law Edna Williams of Lucedale; her grandchildren, Ashley McLeod (Delaine), Jessica McLeod (George), Hannah Pulliam (Jacob), Kyle Williams (Hannah), Justin Walley (Jenny), Leslie Dunnam (Tommy), Alli Pitts (Harrison), Ty LaFontaine and Peyton LaFontaine; her great grandchildren, Hunter McLeod (Jasee), Kaleb, Kayleigh, Karsen, Kannon McLeod, Anna Claire, Caroline Pulliam, Ely Rayleigh, Kooper, Katie Pitts, Marley, Kase Williams, Jenson, Juliet Walley and Keagan Havard; her great great grandchildren, Macen McLeod and Hazel LaFontaine; and her sister Yvonne Carter of Lucedale.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Bexley Baptist Church (2242 Bexley Church Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
