He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Whatley and Rosetta Roberts Whatley (Roberts). He is survived by: his wife Annette Parker Whatley; his daughters, Tammy Howell (Junior), Bettye Anne Brannon, Karen Hempstead (Steve), Teresa Ronk (Jerry) and Amanda Sabo; his stepsons, Floyd Dale Whatley, Floyd Lee Whatley and Jeremy Ashley Whatley; his extended family, Pam Howell (Joe), Patti Parker, Paula Cochran (Henry), Phillip Parker (Erin) and William Edward David; his sisters, Mary Whatley Jones (Hudie) and Margaret Whatley David; and his nephew Vernon Edward David. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
