She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Lee Davis (Dixon) and Gregg T. Davis. She is survived by: her husband Larry Helton; her sons, John Helton (Shawn) and Joey Helton (Holli); her grandchildren, Bryce, Mason and Kendall; and her siblings, Joyce Read (Jerald) and Wayne Davis (Annette). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, loved ones, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
