He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eugene and Carolyn Evans (Russell). He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Evans (Dorsett); his sons, Edward Russell Evans Jr., Justin Dorsett Evans and Raymon Stennis Durrett Evans; and his sister Frances Evans Wright. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
