She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnis Horne and Lucille Horne (Horne); her husband Fredrick Eckhoff; her son Larry Blackledge; and her granddaughter Destinie Stauter.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Eckhoff (Nisha) of Houston, TX and Brian Eckhoff (Tania) of Lucedale, MS; her grandchildren, Miles Eckhoff (Cecilia), Cole Eckhoff, Linsey Eckhoff and Breanna Culpepper; and her great grandchild Hudson Culpepper.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Union Missionary Baptist Church (12153 MS-613, Lucedale, MS 39452).
