It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Knight Stringer (Lucedale, Mississippi), who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wilmer Stringer; her daughter Elaine Barton; her parents, Bert Howell and Addie Howell; and her siblings, Mary Jean Taylor, Wilson Howell, Edna Boone, Alice Mae Sylvester and Von Williams.
She is survived by: her children, William "BJ" Knight (Diana), Connie Howell (Kenneth) and Michael Knight. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
