She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Charles Keller; her parents, Marvin Howard and Mattie Walters Howard; her son Dexter Cloyd Mizell, Jr.; and her siblings, Lola McMillian, Stella Crawley, Roberta Byrd, Lena Ready, Wesley Howard, Marvin Howard, Jr. and Benard Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Jo Dunnam (David), Donald W. Mizell (Teresa) and Marlene Broussard (George); and her siblings, Irene Havard (James), Herbie Howard (Patricia), Alfred Howard (Bennie) and Herman "Skeet" Howard (Grace). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
