She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Albert and Juanita Leroy (Melvin); and her sisters, Betty Leroy Morse and Loretta Leroy. She is survived by: her husband Donald Edward Tanner Sr.; her children, Denise McKissick (Tim), April Moreau Rink (Randy), Donald Edward Tanner Jr. and Gordon Joseph Moreau; her grandchildren, Kelsey (Brooklynn), Moriah, Spencer (Nicole), Samantha and Rowdy; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Remi, Sage and Spencer Jr.; her cousin Diane Terrington; and her niece Monica Morse Bowen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Geiger Road Apostolic Church (116 Geiger Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Geiger Apostolic Church (116 Geiger Rd, Lucedale, MS 39452).
