He was predeceased by: his father Al Erkhart. He is survived by: his mother Gracie Shepard of Virginia; and his siblings, Jane McInnis, Sharon Quinn (Adam), Grace Johnston (Darrel), Sammy Stewart (Leann) and Dwaine Stewart (Martha Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
