It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Faye Dawkins (Louisville, Mississippi), who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammie White and Lena Davis White; her husband Marshall Dawkins; her granddaughter Marsha Rhodes Eldridge; her sons-in-law, Ralph Jordan and Charles Rhodes; her granddaughter-in-law Melanie Peterson; her great grandchild Kisha Hays; her great great grandchildren, Madison Nichole Dickerson and Olivia Freidhaber; and her siblings, Billy White, Sue Haimes and Emma Dean Catledge.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Rhodes of Sturgis, Patty Peterson (Giles) of Louisville and Beverly Quinn (Larry) of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Glenn Rhodes (Debbie), Carolyn Dickerson (Dale), Thomas Peterson, Dawn Reynolds and Tony Jordan (Donna); and her great grandchildren, April Freidhaber (Ed), Morgan Rhodes (Summer), Betsy Rhodes, Ashley Hays, Lindsie Hays, Tonya Darnell (Andy), Shena Dickerson, Brad Dickerson (Brittany), Natalie Beddingfield (Philip), Jacob Eldridge, Jordyn Eldridge, Matthew Reynolds, Katelyn Vandiver (Grant) and Ethan Jordan. She is also survived by her 17 great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great grandson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
