With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waudine Goldman Nowell (Louisville, Mississippi), who passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Goldman and Jewel McBeath Goldman; her husband Jack Nowell; her son Donald Joe Nowell, Sr.; her son-in-law Roger Gillett; her siblings, Mavis Burkes Addkison, Fred Cuevas Goldman, Williard Goldman and Archie Goldman; and her siblings-in-law, Edgar Burkes, Bruner Myers and Juanita "Nita" Goldman.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Nowell Gillett of Louisville, Ronald Nowell (Carolyn) of Philadelphia and Byron Nowell (Honey); her daughter-in-law Pam Commer Nowell Manning of Philadelphia, Mississippi.; and her sister Marie Goldman Myers. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
During the COVID pandemic, she made several thousand masks that were given to children in school.
