He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Manning Eaves; his sons, Brent Eaves and Anthony Yates; and his brothers, David Eaves and Jimmy Eaves.
He is survived by: his sons, Wendell Eaves of Louisville and Philip Eaves of Louisville; his siblings, Billy Eaves (Natalie) of Louisville, Nancy Burnham of Louisville, Mary Burroughs (Troy) of Louisville and Betty Eaves of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Lesley Eaves, Cody Eves, James Austin Prestage, Zachery Eaves, Brock Eaves, Nicole Khader, Victoria Delgado, Austin Yates and Kenny Ray Williams. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
