We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2020, at the age of 102, Smith Whiteside (Louisville, Mississippi), born in Myrtle, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Whiteside; his parents, Nannie Whiteside and Ellis A. "Mac" Whiteside; his grandchildren, Shan Whiteside and Aron Whiteside; and his great grandchild Garret Glenn Hughes.

He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Vowell (E. L.) of Louisville, Diane Kelly (Larry) of Itta Bena, MS, Bob Whiteside (Sallie) of Starkville, MS and Hugh Whiteside (Anita) of Louisville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
