He is survived by: his wife Barbara Black Howard of Flowood; his children, Brenda Howard Edgin (Richard) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Seth Maurice Howard, Jr. (Martha Jo "Dee") and Michelle Howard Herring (Patrick) of Crownsville, Maryland; his sister Glenda Fay Greer of Vidalia, Louisiana.; and his grandchildren, Cassandra Ruley (Richard), Collin Edgin (Alex), Richard Edgin, III, Madeline Wilson (Joseph), Joseph Seth Howard, Emily Katherine Herring and Ethan Patrick Herring.
