It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mitchell of Louisville, Mississippi, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Fellows Mitchell and Betty Edna Thompson Mitchell; his wife Vivian Mitchell; and his aunt Jane Mitchell (Sadie Kate Bell). He is survived by: his children, Robert Allison Mitchell, Jr. (Janice) of McCool, Mississippi and Rebecca Ann Smith of Guntown, Mississippi; and his sister Betty Templeton of Ridgeland, Mississippi. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Stonewall Cemetery Fund or Bear Creek Cemetery Fund.
