He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Martin and Ollie Brown Martin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Whitehead Martin of Louisville; his daughters, Wendy Watson (Richard) of Louisville and Tonya Glass (Ricky) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Josh Dempsey (Brooke) and Channing Watson (Dixie); his great grandchildren, Grant Kitchens and Larkyn Dempsey; and his sisters, Gloria Luke of Louisville and Faye Smith (Eugene) of West Point, Mississippi.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
