She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Eaves and Ruby Hooks Eaves; and her siblings, Mildred Arnett, Jackie "Sweetie" Bunch, Elmer Eaves, Welton Eaves and Harry Eaves.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Cockrell of Louisville; her sister Jean Nall of Clinton, Mississippi; and her sister-in-law Dean Eaves of Louisville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
