She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Caminiti and Lyda Rea Pennington Caminiti; and her brother Joe Allen. She is survived by: her husband E. T. Smith; her children, Melissa Thrash of Noxapater, Mississippi and Patrick Fussell of New Orleans, Louisiana.; and her siblings, Melba Armstrong, Paula Caminiti, Russell Caminiti and Clyde Jones (Josephine). She is also survived by "Grandma" to her 14 grandchildren and her nine great-grandchildren.
