She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Martin Shepherd and Ethel Marie Nester Shepherd; her husband Clinton Royce McBrayer; and her siblings, Lois McMullen, Carolyn Rester, Cherry Dailey Stribling, Bo Shepherd, Brooks Shepherd and John Shepherd.
She is survived by: her daughter Maria McBrayer Hartness (Ricky); her grandmother Bailey Coward (Corey); her great grandchildren, Mac Coward of Louisville and Bo Coward of Louisville; her siblings, Madge Fields of Columbus, MS, Sallie Henderson of Boise, ID, Gloria Bynum (Charles) of Hattiesburg, MS, Faye Coleman of Macon, MS and Kline Shepherd (Gayle) of Louisville, MS; and her family, Talishwa Elmore, Aliya Westbrook and Sherry Duran. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
