With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Helen Jennings Woods (Louisville, Mississippi), who passed away on September 26, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Willis "Clarence" Woods; and her son Andy Woods. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Woods Kiningham (Tom) of Sewanee, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law Beverly Woods of Louisville; her grandchildren, Stephanie Townsend, Jason Townsend (Misty), Amber Naccarato (Travis), Spring Moody (Chris) and Andrew Woods; and her sisters, Mamie Sue Woods (Guy), Margie Fay Scott (Thomas) and Betty Jo Mitchell (John).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in honor of Mavis be given to South Louisville Baptist Church, 933 South Church Avenue, Louisville, MS 39339.
