She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Young and Tennie Vaughn Young; her husband George Higginbotham; her son George Dennis Higginbotham; her son-in-law Garry Ronyak; and her siblings, Grady Young, Ransom Young, Jr., Ruby Jackson, Christine White, Addie Lee White, Hattie Trosper, Carl Gilbert, David Hemphill, Eugene Hemphill, Billy Higginbotham, William Shepheard and Ransom "Dinky" Young.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Richardson (Doug) of Louisville, Margie H. Ronyak of Macon and Jimmy Higginbotham (Nancy); her siblings-in-law, Elsie Parny and Charles Higginbotham (Bettye); her grandchildren, Dennis Ronyak (Jessie), Courtney Clark (Ben), Karla Higginbotham and Ashley Higginbotham; and her great grandchildren, Hartley Richardson, Lux Clark, Garry Ronyak and Wrenley Clark.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (724 N Columbus Ave, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Massey Funeral Home Chapel (724 N Columbus Ave, Louisville, MS 39339).
