She was predeceased by: her parents, Burgess Lee and Lovie Sharp Clark; and her sisters, Marjorie Taylor, Jean Russell and Nancy Clark.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Juanita) of Ridgeland, MS and Andy (Kimber) of Birmingham, AL; her husband James Franklin Kennedy of Louisville, MS.; her daughter Julie Scalfaro (Frank) of Tampa, FL.; and her grandchildren, Keely Kennedy, Meagan Kennedy, Keaton Kennedy, Kaitlyn Kennedy, Caroline Scalfaro and Cash Scalfaro.

“Franklin, Andy, the entire family of Mary, I send my deepest condolences. Andy, from the time you arrived at Ole Miss my Mom and I met Franklin and Mary at an event. Loved her from that day on. Spent most all half time basketball games visiting. Would love to be with the family to celebrate her life but don’t travel that far alone at my age. Just know that we loved her dearly and thanks for letting me know. Prayers for the family .”
