He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Maxey Boatner; his sons, Gary Boatner (Angie) of Louisville and Richard Boatner (Lynn) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Marty Boatner and Joseph Boatner (Ashley); his brother Don Boatner; and his brother-in-law Millard Lloyd of Philadelphia, Mississippi..
