She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Johnson and Dorothy Shelton Johnson; her siblings, Jimmy Johnson and Lynda Jack Johnson Yarbrough; her stepfather Fletcher Gore; and her mother-in-law Willa Dean Watkins.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Lin Eaves; her children, Adrienne Mercer (Stephen) and Joshua Goodin; her grandchildren, Clay Mercer (Grace), Fletch Mercer and Millie Kate Mercer; her nieces, Tara Yarbrough Woodward (Jimmy) and Ginny Yarbrough Deliman (Patrick); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Woodward (Kristin), Andrew Woodward (Maci), Kaitlin Kennedy Albritton (Colter) and Mallory Kennedy Schwartz (Connor); her brother-in-law Kenneth Eaves (Brenda); her father-in-law Hank Eaves (Judy); her brother-in-law Jim Yarbrough; and her cousin Mary Snow (Johnny). She is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home (302 W Park St, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Marsha came out of retirement to assist her community.
