With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mae Yarbrough of Louisville, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vester and Maggie Curtis Jennings; her husband Rev. James M. Yarbrough; and her siblings, William Haywood Jennings, Kermit Clifton "Tensie" Jennings, Clint Jennings, Jewel Earl Sanders and Charlotte Faye McFarland.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Yarbrough (Barbara) of Louisville, Jan Addkison (Larry) of Louisville, Pam Metts (Derick) of Starkville and Penny Llewelyn (Evan) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Molly Taylor (Will), Andrew Addkison (Meagan), Chris Robinson (Amanda), Jessica Phillips (Chad), Caleb Metts, Landis Ledford (Josiah) and Evan James Llewelyn; and her great grandchildren, Maeley Taylor, Maggie Taylor, Connor Robinson, Emma Robinson, Lawson Robinson, Avalynn Robinson, Allie Phillips, Aubrey Phillips, Grayson Phillips, Hattie Metts, Will Metts, Anne Baker Metts and Sara Jean Metts. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gum Branch Baptist Church in her memory.
