He was predeceased by: his parents, Clois King and Betty Crocker King; his wife Bobbie Nell King; and his siblings, James King, Cliff King, William King and Doris Smith.
He is survived by: his children, LeAnne King Cheatham (Robert) of Newnan, Georgia and Kevin King (Rhonda) of Louisville; his siblings, Betty Whitehead Sullivan (T. P.) and David King (Jamie) of Louisville; his sisters-in-law, Pat Blanton and Paula Blanton; and his grandchildren, Caroline Cheatham Everett (John), Matthew Cheatham, Kimberley King Sharp (Justin) and Kathryn King White (Jon).
