He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Spence and Olene Hamill Spence; and his sister Barbara Spence Cherry. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Spence; his sons, Alan Spence, Chris Spence and Tyler Strong; his siblings, Janice Spence Love, Shirley Spence Miller and Jimmy Spence (Martha); and his grandchildren, Austin Spence, Alysia Spence, Lexie Gray, Ava Strong and Ryleigh Maycock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
