We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2020, at the age of 88, Joy Marie Clay (Louisville, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Roy Pearson and Alice Narcissus Gordon Pearson; her husband Paul Clay; her siblings, Warlene Hathorn, Estel Pearson, Earcel Pearson, Burrel Pearson, Fearon Pearson, Eldridge Pearson and Paul "Jack" Pearson; and her great grandchild John Pearson Clay.

She is survived by: her sons, Stewart "Catfish" Clay (Malinda) of Columbus, MS and Mark Clay (Sharon) of Hernando, MS; her siblings-in-law, Nora Clay of Gulfport, MS and T. J. Moore of Caledonia, MS; and her grandsons, Jeremy Clay (Karen) of Columbus, MS, Wesley Clay of New Orleans, LA, Adam Clay (Kacy) of Oxford, MS, Brantly Clay (Anna) of Morris, AL and Jonathan Clay (Lacey) of Hernando, MS..
