With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John T. Copeland Jr. in Louisville, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Copeland, Sr. and Mary "Mamie" Cunningham Copeland; and his brother David Thornberry Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sudduth Copeland; his son John Thomas Copeland, III (Carrie) of Starkville; his grandchildren, Kennedy Sahr Pugh, Jackson Neil Copeland and John Joseph Copeland; his sister Joan Puryear (James) of Greenville, SC; and his nephews, John James (Mollie) of Greenville, SC, Jeffery of Athens, GA and Joel (Allison) of Asheville, NC.. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
