He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Hampton Schoolar and Ottie Cockrell Schoolar; his wife Clara Lucille Huckaby; and his brothers, Roger Rudolph and Ray Schoolar.
He is survived by: his daughter Johnnie Clair Moss of Moseley, Virginia.; and also, Bertha Haynes, Vera Hathorn, Roxie Loving and Mary Thompson.
