He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Hendrix; his children, Joe B Hendrix (Shari), Tammy Hendrix and Jeff Hendrix (Laura); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Lane Hendrix II, Lauren Hendrix, Sudduth Fuller and Britt Cockrell (Missy); his great grandchildren, Jordan and Trace Cockrell; and his sisters, Joy Childs, Barbara Matthews, Linda Childs (Randy), Rebecca Ellis and Sue Quebedeau.
In lieu of flowers, memorials May be made to Fairview Baptist Church at 127 Airline Rd in memory of Joe Hendrix.
