She was predeceased by: her husband Vannie E. Shumaker; her parents, Georgia Hinze and Cyrus Leach Ray; and her brothers, Wallace Ray, Hinze Ray and Cleo Ray.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Shumaker (Stephanie) of Mobile, AL, Ronald Ray Shumaker (Kathy) of Deatsville, AL and Teddy Van Shumaker (Janette) of Bonner Springs, KS; and her brothers, Billy Joe Ray of McCool, MS and Garland Ray of McCool, MS. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
