She was predeceased by: her parents, William Porter and Margaret Porter; her husband Charles A. Parkes; her daughter Jennifer Johnson; and her grandson Christopher Pennington.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Riley (Dennis) of Owensboro; her sister Sara Goodin of Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Jake Riley (Marci), Jessica Wilcockson (Jameson) and Dayton Johnson (Jessica). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
