She was predeceased by: her son Michael J. Cistrunk; and her sister Mary L. Cistrunk. She is survived by: her husband Bunnie R. Cistrunk; and her children, Bernice Faye Cistrunk-Howard, Johnny R. Cistrunk, Artis O. Cistrunk, Spencer D. Cistrunk and Sabrina L. Cistrunk. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
