We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 73, James H. Sanford Jr. (Louisville, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lt. Colonel James H. Sanford, Sr. and Sarah "Sally" Hull Sanford. He is survived by: his wife Susan Orr Sanford of Louisville; his children, James A. Sanford (Alyson) of Louisville and Sara Sanford Chancellor (Clay) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Mary Clayton Chancellor, James Olin Sanford, Mary-Ina June Sanford and Jessie Dell Sanford; his sister Mary Jon Crawford (Barry Mitchell); and his niece Mary Ashley Blount (Chris) of Panama City.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in honor of Jim be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online at stjude.org/donate.
