He is survived by: his wife Waudine Goldman Nowell; his children, Phyllis Nowell Gillett of Louisville, Ronald Nowell (Carolyn) of Philadelphia and Byron Nowell (Honey); his daughter-in-law Pam Commer Nowell Manning of Philadelphia, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Donald Joe "DJ" Nowell, II (Vanessa), Stephanie Gillett, Johnathan Nowell (Brandi), Jeremiah Gillett, Joey Nowell (Stephanie) and Jerry Jack Nowell; his great grandchildren, Autumn Nowell, Hayden Nowell, Zoey Gillett, Madalyn Nowell, Minnie Marie Nowell, Seth Nowell, Israel Harrison, Lyra Mae Nowell and Weston Dean Nowell; his sister Faye Nowell Myers; his sister-in-law Marie Goldman Myers; his brother Mitchell Nowell; and his brother-in-law John Harris. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
