He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Woodward Horton, Sr. and Flora Lawrence Horton; and his siblings, James L. Horton, Henry Dean Horton, Evelyn H. Black and Mary Nell Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kemp Horton; his son Woodward Brent Horton; and his sister Faye Love Horton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
