With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Mae Dickerson of Louisville, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Emma Jones Quinn; her husband Robert Dickerson; her son Danny O'Neal Dickerson; her grandson Carl R. Dickerson; her children-in-law, Carlene Dickerson and Otha Hartness, Jr.; her siblings, Betty Jackson, Earlene Howard, Lila Kitchens, Will "Bob" Quinn, James Edward "Jim" Quinn and Robert Commodore Quinn; and also Sammie Belle Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Reta Hartness of Louisville, Robert Dickerson (Beverly Keene) of Louisville, Roy Dickerson (Dinky) of Louisville and Mark Dickerson of Louisville; her grandchildren, Shayne Hartness, Shannon Hartness, Angie Hartness, Mandi Dempsey (Rodney), Kyle Dickerson (Sarah), Carly Dickerson, John Dickerson (Kristin) and Linsey Anderson (John); her great grandchildren, Chase Jones, Dalton Hartness, Mary Elizabeth "Ellie" Dickerson, Peyton Dempsey, Parker Dempsey, Logan Dempsey, Maddie Young (Logan), Gracie Edwards (Sawyer Roberts), Aiden Reed, John Allen Collier, Robert Jase Anderson, Walker Hayze Anderson and Kyle Dickerson, Jr.; and her sisters, Louise Hamilton, Ora Lee Dickerson, Minnie Pearl McKee and Bessie Adams.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (724 N Columbus Ave, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home Chapel (724 N Columbus Ave, Louisville, MS 39339). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (5379 Bond Rd, Louisville, MS 39339).
