It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Louise Hawkins (Louisville, Mississippi), who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard and Lena Mae Allige Harris; her husband Mike Hawkins; her sons, Richard Hugh Brown and Virgil Elbert Dewberry; and her siblings, Larry Harris and Faye Tenhet.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Dewberry (Tammy) of Louisville, Marsha Strickland Reese (Dennis) of Louisville and Deborah Meatyard (Keith) of Seminole, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Michael Dewberry (Summer), Chase Dewberry (Kayla), Clifford Owens, Jennifer Gardner, Star Shepard, Wilber Shepard and Angie Blessingame; her great grandchildren, Caysen, Stephen Dewberry, Sophia, Brayden Dewberry, Heaven, Cheyenne and Quincy Shepard; and her siblings, Richard Lucious Harris, Melvin Richard Harris, Carrol Harris, Jimmy Dale Harris (Pamela), Milton Harris, Lovie Nell Carter (Jimmy), Doris Clark (Billy) and Betty Beliew (Bobby). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
