He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Hughes and Minnie May Hughes; his wife Ramona Hughes; his siblings, Hal Hughes and Francis Thompson; and his children, Lisa Cheyne, Patty Carol Buteau, Angie Watson, Ginger Edwards and Glen Hughes. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
