He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Leach Ray and Georgia Hinze Ray; his wife Mary Z. Shumaker; and his siblings, George "Cleo" Ray, Wallace Ray, Hinze Ray, B. J. Ray and Jewelene Shumaker.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice Greene (Marion) of McCool; his granddaughter Susan Byrd (Pat); and his great grandchildren, Michael and Laurie Byrd. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
